A Thank You to the Andrew Lions organization for having food

and refreshments available for jail visitors.

Honor Flight

The Andrew AMVETS presented Jack Dyas with a ticket to join the Quad Cities Honor Flight to Washington D.C.  Jack said he was thrilled to be a part of the trip and that it was even greater than he had imagined.  The welcome, complete with bagpipers and a tunnel of greeting people, was deeply moving. Jack encourages others to make this memorable trip.  A big thank you goes out to the AMVETS and the many people who made this possible.

Andrew Men on Honor Flight

Honor Flight

Honor Flight. The men and ladies aux of Post #62 came together and raised funds for two Jackson county residents, George Roeder of Andrew and James Bliss of Otter Creek to be able to go on the flight August 29th. This is a great Honor for the Andrew Post to be able to send these two men. George is a Korean veteran and his Son-in-law Jim is a Vietnam veteran.  Both men are Andrew High School graduates.
