Jackson County, Iowa, Hazard Mitigation Plan

Jackson County, IA – Jackson County has completed a draft update of its Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) and is now seeking public feedback. Public participation plays an important role in planning.  Planning for natural disasters minimizes the impact of these events that can cause vast economic loss and personal hardship. Jackson County residents and interested stakeholders including those in neighboring counties or working with affected agencies are encouraged to review and offer feedback.
